Perfect Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Replacement part!
If you want the best choose Moog! They win hands down. This is a common part to fail on a Ford/Mercury/Lincoln. You will hear a clunking noise that sounds like a bad ball joint when going over bumps. This will drive you nuts while traveling in New England. The stock ends were not much fun removing. There is a 5mm allen in the bottom of the shaft that you can supposedly hold the stud with...ya in a perfect world without rust maybe. My sawzall made quick work of that mess. Installation Tip: The top fits into the steering knuckle. It has a tapered shaft behind the rubber cup. You put a non supplied (12mm X 1.5 tpi) non locking nut on the shaft and drive it home. Then remove the nut and use the supplied 15mm locking nut. This way the shaft won't spin as you tighten it. The bottom is pretty self explanatory. It has a 19mm nut welded to the shaft.
