I use my 1995 F-250 Diesel for plowing. After 17 years and 215k I had 1" of suspension travel before hitting the stops which was making for an uncomfortable ride and damaged the plow-mount last winter. The squat in the front end was also eating the ball joints out at an alarming rate. After installing these, the truck sits level again (30psi in system) and rides far better. I have 2.5" between the axle and stops and the truck rides better than it has in years. That's BEFORE putting the plow on. The hardest part of installation was drilling the holes in the frame and that was just time consuming. The only issue I had was that perfect alignment resulted in a rub between the brake line and the air fitting, I just cut a thick piece of nylon webbing and sandwiched it in between to prevent wear. I would strongly recommend these for anyone who plows or has a diesel.
