Their expanded twin-tube design also increases fluid capacity by 50 percent to reduce internal operating temperatures. ES9000 shocks are specially designed to integrate with Pro Comp suspension systems. They feature 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1 3/8 in. nylon-banded full-displacement piston, and a large 5/8 in. hard-chromed piston rod. They're available for stock-height and lifted suspensions.

EXPLORER PRO COMP ES9000 Shocks
This shock is nitrogen charged and provides a nice ride to my jeep. Smooth enough for the road, but firm enough for the off road events too. Reasonable price and superb quality. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good off road shock.

Pro Comp Shocks
The shocks are fantastic, but, a person needs to know exactly which shock to buy. I ordered the ones to fit a jeep and they had the wrong ends on the shock. I kept them because they will fit another vehicle I own.
